Acid Rain
03:28

Hold up, is that a photograph of your face?
Love like acid rain.
Hold up, they’re the photographs held in a frames, from the times we saved.
Well you said don’t throw them out so I kept them just in case.
I never wanted to say goodbye so I’ll keep them just in case.
Too scared to say hello,
Too scared to turn my back.
Oh sweet Lorraine.
Too late for contact,
There ain’t no fast track to feeling better again.
Time, don’t haunt me anymore.
Time, don’t haunt me anymore.
Hold up, is that the memory of your face?
Love like acid rain.
Hold up, there’s not a store room where I could place this disgust and hate?
Well you said please phone me up if I ever changed my case,
Well I’ve tried so many times before, I’m too afraid to chase.
Won’t you come say hello,
Im too scared to even know,
Where’s my sweet Lorraine?
Too late for contact,
There ain’t no fast track to feeling better again.
Time, don’t haunt me anymore.
Time, don’t haunt me anymore.
I’ve sized my fortune and there’s nothing anymore.
Time, don’t haunt me anymore.
If all is well, then I can’t tell.
In the belly of a beast,
Its as dark as hell.

Seeing Double
04:09
|

Late night cruising,
Through the heart of every memory,
Those weeks,
Oh how they flew by,
Our map kept me up all night,
Seeing double.
Strange how travelling haywire,
Makes my eyes blur with million faces,
When I reach out to ghosts on their motorcycles,
Thinking that I’m staying up,
Seeing double.
Feeling so lazy I could decompose,
Replace the plants with each of my bones.
Life has got me.
Crazy and compromising,
Crazy and compromising,
Crazy and compromising,
Compromising and lately seeing double.
Now Im back home,
Running my fingers down the brick work,
Of this old house.
Tracing back steps to old routines,
But our map keeps me up all night,
Seeing double.
Feeling so lazy I could decompose,
Replace the plans with each of my bones.
Life has got me.
Crazy and compromising,
Crazy and compromising,
Crazy and compromising,
Compromising and lately seeing double.

Bombay

Wait, when there’s no point fighting and all we got is pain,
And when my bones need growing, I guess I’m on my way.
Now city lights got me shaking like the hips in Bombay.
I hope you know that my hearts in a present wrapped with your name.
I think about the times we tried, the arguments, the tears we cried well,
It was all too much.
I took a journey to the city, put the beach and seas behind me,
Now this city’s my home.
I’m new around the block,
I took a chance all on my own and there’s nothing like the great unknown.
I’m new around the block.
So I’ll wait, watch the new moons rising, I bet I’ll see your face.
But there’s no point thinking with regret or blame,
And I don’t care if your talking behind my back everyday,
Cuz I was running and crying, I still love you today.

Whisper love to me like sleight of hand,
They’re selling it from a cherry stands its sweet just like your moan.
So listen babe,
I never want a smoking gun,
Only if you’re gunna heat this room from noon till dawn,
But let us breathe.
Oh my God,
I’m on my knees,
If you’re gone, I’m going under with you.
Woman,
Watch setting summer sun,
You know nothing’s gunna be this fun from twenty one,
So let us breathe,
So let us breathe.
Oh my God,
I’m on my knees,
Oh my God,
I’m on my knees,
If you’re gone, I’m going under with you.
If you’re gone, I’m going under with you.
